I know technically this could to be posted in the "Meeting Place" thread but seeing as it's to do with f&c, it's probably more suited in here.

That time has come around again when i'll be in Wakefield district West Yorkshire( Horbury to be precise) for a few days.

If anyone is at a lose end / day off work etc etc and wishes to meet somewhere for a shoot then I can be free anytime sunday 20th through to friday 25th Oct.

I won't have own transport so it limits me a little bit to where i can get to, however if you're interested drop me a line.

Atm I am only looking at travelling very light with an slr and one prime ( 35mm for street/views). If there is definite meet up plans then I could easily be tempted to carry additional stuff...

Ok ok I suppose an extra camera or 3 might find its way into my luggage.....depends on how much hair mousse, shampoo and other carp the mrs wants to cram in! :D

its in Minnisota at the moment.
 
I actually finish nights on Sunday 20th AM so I will be out of action that day for sure, Zombie comes to mind, for me Tuesday forwards probly a better bet.

Atm we have no set plans during our stay hence anyday is good tbh.

Doesn't bother me if there's just a couple of togs or a larger group, similarly I have no objection to meeting 2 or 3 different days in the week to suit other peoples free time.
 
I am off all week but literally I finish my 7 night shifts on Sunday AM at 6 I am completely wasted on Sunday and Monday not much better, takes me till Tuesday just to remember my name.

Leeds is fine by me unless anyone wants to go elsewhere.

EDIT: Perhaps the infamous :D Mr Hooley is knocking about too??

Unless something weird crops up work-wise then Tuesday should be good for me! I'm also up for getting the train elsewhere if there's anywhere else people want to go, I was just thinking Leeds might be a nice central point. Plus we can have a nosy at the delights in Nick's shop... :lol:

Sounds like I best leave all plastic payment methods with my Mrs as I'm easily persuaded to purchase "delights"!! :D

I'll shoot anywhere tbh...i did do Leeds last year with Rob but quite happy to return.

Here's hoping there's some half reasonable light to get some shots as some of that gear has fixed or very limited aperture/shutter settings ........if not, they're nice to hold and play with over a drink! :D

Just weighed the Alu case with that kit....10kg :gag: , blimey at this rate my holdall with clothes is gunna weigh less:lol:

A fuji 690 is bigger than your head and he looked pretty normal.....;)
 
I still have Hooley's Fuji 690 which will be making an appearance on Tuesday, if you're going to take badly exposed blurry photos you might as well make them huge ones! :lol:

Shame but such is life.......I could still meet up with you for a couple of hours on sunday if you want.

Midday onwards would be better for me tbh as I wont arive in Yorkshire til early hours, however I'm always easy going and will adapt to others, ...let me know.

I'd suggest mid morning say 10.30 ish but whatever suits everyone else.

So long as public transport is available, I'll go what ever time.

I'll look at getting myself there mid morning I think...If I'm alone to start with,no worries, I'll enjoy having a stroll through the market or somewhere to kill time waiting for the lazy one (Mr Bump! :D) to arrive at lunchtime!! :lol:

I'm good to arrive at any time. Nick, shall we maybe meet at your place or outside the Corn Exchange? By the sound of it the number of cameras in your shop would double with what Asha's bringing! :lol:

Out of curiosity, how much are your kit bags gunna weigh guys??.....I've just bobbed mine on my shoulder...:gag:

Mine's gonna be very manageable with just the Fuji 690 and EOS 10 + 24-105L. The more I drink the heavier it feels so light is alway better in these circumstances!
