Plenty of options to help you recover images e.g. This One - I've not used it, it's an example of what's available.

Hi It is posible to retreive deleted images some times. Do NOT use the card untill some one with more understanding of the procedure than me. Posts the method of doing so.

You should be able to recover the image. Just don't use the card again in the meantime, or you'll start overwriting it. I use Rescue Pro, which came with a Sandisk card reader, but there are plenty of other utilities to do this and I'm sure someone will post details. A decent camera shop will probably have the software too, but they'll probably charge a fee. Might be worth paying if you're not very confident about doing it yourself, but it's quite simple and I'd get the software just in case you have another hiccup. It happens!

If I have read this correctly - you have put your card into your PC and were viewing / deleting straight from your card?

If that's the case just have a look in your recycle bin on your desktop, it will stay until you empty it.

.DAVID.

You can use "Recuva" or "Image Recall" to get your photos back, as long as you haven't re used the card. Both are available to download from the web and you should be able to get a trial version for free for a while. Good luck.

Sandisk extreme cards include a free recovery tool, the box includes a download address and a serial number.

When I had to use this I was amazed how many old shots I got back.

Me too, I used it last November and a very good piece of software that managed to get a little over 8GB of files of a 8GB card :suspect: to this day I don't know how it did that

Part of the reason that I've just ordered another £200 of those cards, well that and the reason that Amazon have the latest generation of them stupidly cheap currently
