Have my camera coming in a few days, so looking at accessories to get by the time.

Canon EOS 650D 18-135mm STM (67mm)

So... i have thought i need:

*Bag ? Thinking of getting the Canon one for £24.99 @ currys?
*Remote Controller ?
*UV filter 67mm ? What make-where to buy ?
*Extra battery, where to get best price yet original?

I have a 16GB 30MB memory card and today got a Hama Star 700 tripod (i know its light but will do for start).

Thank you!

Hi

Congrats on your new purchase

Bag - there are lots available, you can go for a shoulder bag or a backpack type. I've a Lowepro Nova bag and it's very great, certainly recommend one. My daughter uses a Crumpler bag which is another worth looking at...

Remote release - you have a choice of Canon or a 3rd party one, wired or wireless...

Filter - I personally don't like UV filters and don't use them - I'd buy a lens hood instead !!!

Battery - yes certainly worth it, but possibly see how you get on with just the 1 battery ?

Quick release adaptor is handy if you going to use a tripod.

Can anyone recommend a good solid tripod around £50?

Also, anyone used ebay to buy cheap batterys for camera? They list 2xbattery for £9 for my Canon 650D. Are they any good or useless?
Going on holiday so would need extra battery just in case one isnt enough.

Cheers for help!

I tried Ebay batteries for a canon and they were garbage - first one didnt work at all - the replacement one had about 1/5 of the life span of an original - so I just went and bought an original!

Looking for a lenses, one for macro (bug ect) and other with good range like shooting planes that get ready for landing and glide over my house everyday but still quite high for my 135mm,.

Can anyone recommend me any? as i have read some put macro on lens description but it actually isnt for macro.
