Hi all, what would you recommend as a very good tripod for my Nikon DSLR, and also a recommended set of filters for the lenses...? Does anywhere sell a decent filter kit containing all filters ?

Might help if you told us that you used a D810 and (currently) a 28-300 as the longest lens. ;)

Best bet is to visit a bricks'n'mortar shop and play with a few options to see which type, makes etc you like.
 
Define what you mean by a complete set of filters. Cokin used to make almost 100 different filters! What filters do you want; those for black and white, or a polariser, or neutral density or graduated neutral density?
 
I'm really after a good set with loads of different filters and attachment rings, all in one kit with some kind of cary pouch / case if there is such a thing available...
 
Lee Filters are probably the top of the tree AFAIK so the starter set from them would get you going (hence the name ;) ) and you can add which ever ones you want to the set.
