i'm currently working on an 'abstract art' topic at the mo and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas for photos i could take for it?

so far ive done splashing water into wine glasses and sherry glasses, last night i was fiddling around with the shutter speed and lights and i was also fiddling with the shutter speed and candles in sherry glasses and stuff like that

any ideas will be appriciated!!!

I always find shadows or reflections, or parts of them sometimes work well-Or what about manipulation using photoshop ( if you have it?)

My favourite abstracts are architectural - a stroll round town with a longer lens can bag many an intriguing abstract - especially looking up, including, as said above, plenty of reflections where office blocks are found :)

Hi Lilz
I have been doing some abstract at the moment. I have been doing closeups of the inside of lit light bulbs, like this.

I think macro is great for abstract.
Dark star touches on something I like too, the reflections of buildings in windows, puddles etc. There are tons of ideas. Its not everyone's cup of tea, abstract, but i love it.
