About these robots ...........

I'm a member of other sites which use similar software to this one and there are always a a couple of bots logged on, but the figure logged on here 5 minutes ago was

Total: 436 (members: 185, guests: 142, robots: 109)

Now the question is, can this really be true or are we actually attracting the wrong kind of viewer?

While I don't know as it's not something I've looked into in a big way but I'd suspect it's bit of a qwerk in the system and its actually a much smaller number as many are logged for each thread they look at over a 15 minute period

If say most are search engine bots, seeing how quickly threads are indexed on to google.

You do get spam bots but seeing as those sort of posts are very rare id say marcel has protection enabled.
