Hello, i've been lurking for a couple of weeks and on thursday i purchased a Nikon D90 with the 18-105mm lens.
I'm a total Noob to DSLR's , but i have Photography qualification from school (40 hour module) albeit a looooong time ago i still have a good understanding of aperture and shutter speed and the workings of an SLR camera etc. I guess the developing side is no longer required though!
Anyway i bought the best camera i could afford and although many of the features are lost on me i'm hoping this camera will help me get to where i'de like to be without having to upgrade and learn all over again.
Choice of camera was heavily influenced by you guys and i'm hoping with a lot of reading and picking up on the knowledge of you guys/girls i can improve drastically.
