Aberdeen Airport

I stay about 20 minutes away from Aberdeen/Dyce Airport (by car) and go up there now and again with the missus to get some aircraft pictures. We normally go up the hill where you get an overview of the whole airport.

I was looking on a website that described 3 other spots you can legally go to take photos but it never specified exactly, say on a map or something.

Does anyone from here go up there now and again and if so could you tell me these other spots where we are allowed to take pics from either through directions or marking the spots on an aerial view etc.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Right around Pitmedden Road, between Kirkhill and Kirkton Industrial Estates, takes you right past the far end of the runway.

Used to go up to Wellheads Industrial Estate regular, and would often look at the planes as I stretched my legs after the long trip, didn't have a camera then though.

HI,

i know where a couple of them are, as you said you know where 4 is, her eis a map of where the first one is, i think spot 2 must be on the dyce side of the airport looking over towards overton, near the train station way...
