Well this short trip to France is bugging me already. Got to Dunkirk in one piece, Sat Nav was superb :D Checked into the Hotel and asked where the war memorial was, thought someone was bound to know as it looks pretty large on the web...

Wifi is free so logged in to find the address and can't find anything at all :(

Now to spend the next couple of hours hunting the address so I can get there tomorrow (fingers crossed) and grab so photo's...

I know it's my own fault for lack of planning but didn't know that I was definately coming until this morning when for some reason I woke up stupidly early!

If anybody knows the full address of the Dunkirk War Memorial I would be eternally grateful and beer tokens will be awarded :D

Have just driven down Digues and Rues des Chantiers and nada...

Just shown the reception the Memorial page translated into French and they don't know where the ruddy thing is :cuckoo:

I'm beginning to lose it now and so tempted to jump on the ferry back...

Guess it's a trip into town, try and find a tourist office in the morning and see what we get!

Last time I jump on the ferry for the hell of it :( :(

I'll be asleep well before it gets dark at this rate :'( Have been awake for some reason two hours earlier than normal for the last three days and on my feet for the last two, batteries are running out!

I should take some pictures out of my hotel window and hope someone sends me some protective gear lol. I know this place is cheap but look like you need armed guards lmao...

Couldn't make my mind up where to go, ended up popping off to Dunkirk to take some shots of the war memorial which was a complete waste of time!

Got there yesterday early afternoon with plenty of time to get some shots, couldn't find the place so gave up planning to go this morning. Woke up this morning and it was duller than used dishwasher water and blowing a gale, took a drive around, gave up, came home!

Got a good Gannet on the way home so at least one shot that came out well lol...
