So yesterday I ordered a laptop from a company called Nexus13, free next day delivery and I opted to pay extra for a 9am delivery.

9:30, no sign of it
9:45, still nothing I tried calling Nexus13
11:15, finally someone answers and then porkies begin...

First they say the item is showing as completed on the TNT tracking system.
I call my local TNT depot who tell me they've got nothing for my name or address today.
I call Nexus13 back, they say they'll check with TNT and get back to me.
Half an hour later I call them again.
Now I'm told TNT's system has gotten confused and the job showing as completed was a delivery to Croydon. Not to worry tho as he's arranged another on a same day delivery with Target Express (as they had a spare one on the van!) and it should be with me soon. Strangely the tracking number is the same as the one for TNT.

Hmmm... I called Target Express and they confirmed they have a consignment for me on a 24hr delivery that was sent yesterday.

So, rather than admit they didn't send my laptop on a 9am delivery as requested (and paid for) it's a fairy story from the land of make believe.

That's it, I'm moving to theory - everything works there ;)
 
LOL - and Nexus13, I'm guessing, will be finding that 13 is indeed unlucky for some as they credit back your 9am delivery charge!
 
Sounds like a company you WONT be using in the future (guess its not just on Ebay where you get scammed for delivery charges), hope you get it soon :thumbs:

I'd be sending the laptop back and tellin em to shove it!

If you get service like that on delivery, what's gonna happen if it goes wrong under warranty?

Havin said that though, I hope it doesn't!
 
i ordered a guitar yesterday, paid for next day delivery via Royal Snail as its does saturday, but no confirmation of dispatch yet for today, so its not looking too good for delivery tomorrow...

Well the laptop did at least arrive, just after lunch as it turns out so I'm sat in front of the box typing this after picking up a wireless access point today.

Have to say I'm well pleased with the laptop :)

As for nexus13, no I won't be using them again... warranty is with Asus so I don't need to worry on that front :thumbs:
 
After a nightmare with my PC supplier, I decided that the next one is coming from PC world even if you do pay a bit more - the branch is just down the road, no waiting in for imaginary couriers ever again. :bang:


I hope you got your delivery charge refunded.
