I nipped out this afternoon for 20 minutes and when I got back UPS had tried to deliver my new EOS 50D and I'd missed them.

Now I can't get it until Friday.

You should always stay in when expecting any delivery ...dont even go to...you know ....just as trousers touch the floor and bum touches seat ,,,,,,knock knock... its a no no

i took the day off work when my d60 was being delivered and it came at 7.45am lol typical
atleast it gave me the whole day to play with it

it'll be a long wait for you
 
Like today for me.

Dell phoned up last week saying that delivery would take place on the 31st between 8am and 1pm.

The guy decided to knock on the front door delivering at 7:45, just as i was stepping out of the shower. So he got so see me semi naked with a towel round me. Bet he was happy after that.

Only one other time that's happened before, that time i was only wearing my undercrackers. Oh what a sight!
 
Delivery at 7:45AM? OH I love living out in the sticks, nothing before 12PM around here unless I'm lucky

EDIT: And I just noticed the time, :O

You would have had it now if they had used DHL, they used their initiative when I was not in and left my 40D in the blue recycling bin hidden amongst the paper and card..........YES IN THE RECYCLING BIN!!!!!!

Ahh, a fellow Houstonian! Sorry to hear about your 50D, I hope it doesn't happen to my newly purchased 40D. :)

Oh well, it's Friday now, don't leave the house!

They have 2 way radios, he's going out, over, wait,wait,wait deliver NOW NOW NOW, Use the feather duster door knocker just in case there's someone else in.

That's my experience anyway
 
Staying in doesn't always help though. Waiting on a RMSD Before 1pm delivery today.......

FINALLY!!!!

I stayed in all day and it turned up at 5:45pm.

Looks like it'll be tomorrow before I get out with it.
