Hi All,

I need to find a portfolioholder that will take 18x12 images. After quite a while on google I turn to my pals on TP:thumbs:

What are you looking for?

Something like the old artist folders with ribbons on each edge to tie or a clam shell box item.

Both can be sourced in a size to take A3+ and in a colour to suit if you look in the right place.

Preferably something I can slip my 25 prints into. I have sore eyes looking.

Look for an A2 ring bound portfolio, sleeves are about £2 each though.

Exactly what I use!

Tried on several occasions to find A3+ with no success.....A3 and A4 no problem but A3+ proves a headache.

The main drawback I find with A2 is the fact of storing and carrying a larger size than what I actually need but it does the job so all is good.

As said the sleeves aren't so cheap but the ones I get hold of are decent quality.

It's a working solution. Thanks guys. Much appreciated.

If you don't want sleeves and just want a binder have a look in the "Works" if you have one nearby. Dead cheap artist portfolio folders. Can't remember the price I paid but it was less than a fiver each

Pullingers Art Shop is amazing for portfolio & storage. They have such a range I could spend hours looking in there. I kno there's one in Kingston altho as I'm on my phone I can't see where you're based. They have a not so impressive website but the stores are amazing for portfolio products. They do every size up to A0.

I got this a3+ portfolio from portfolioplus.co.uk. Delivery was quick, either next day or the day after. I can't remember. It came shipped in a cardboard box to protect it and was fine when taken out of the box. It was the only A3+ one I could find apart from looking at bespoke ones costing a lot more.

Unfortunately I see you want it to hold 25 prints. This one has got 20 platic sleeves inside, but the seller recommends using 15 for A3 due to the weight of the paper. I guess 15 may be OK for A3+ as well but can't say for sure. The manufacturer doesn't have a recommendation against using all the sleeves.

I too have been looking for A3 plus folders and while this one fits the bill it is an eye-wateringly expensive way of displaying up to twenty prints.

I love the A3 plus size (I have an Epson R3000) but no one caters for the prints once produced; there has to be a market for them, why has no one taken it up I wonder?

I've also bought a cheaper one as well, as you say that one I linked is pricey. I got an Itoya Art A3+. It's not as nicely made as the Pampa one but it's a lot cheaper (half the price) and the sleeve quality is still good.
ps, same printer as me. :)

Arrived today (next day delivery as standard, nice). Really good quality and just what I wanted. Bliss, finally!

Some of the bigger Paperchase stores used to sell what you seem to be looking for, complete with A3 sleeves.

A3 isn't a problem but now, thanks to Stuart, neither is A3+.
