I'm eating a whole haggis. A WHOLE HAGGIS. All 500 grams of it.

I'll post updates. The edges which were in contact with the foil in the over (1h 15m) are nice and crisp.
 
There is a picture of Robert Burns on the box.
 
The back of my throat is burning with pepper. I can make it to the end though. The boiled vegetables are providing temporary relief. Must ration the vegetables.
 
I need water, but I can't get to it. Camera equipment to my right, the sofa arm to the left and the table in front with the laptop. OMG my elbow just touched the haggis.
 
I've found oil. The haggis was stacked and the grease has drained to the bottom, but it's a the bottom where the crispy bits are so the grease can't penetrate. Good things come to those who wait and I can't wait to get to those bits.
 
My friends on messenger are telling me to stop but I won't. I have to beat my personal best set last year and finish what I've started. My beard is catching stray haggis.

I've had to remove my belt and the clothes from above the waist. About 7 spoon fulls left.
 
I was temporarily distracted by "The Girls of the Playboy Mansion". Wife has taken the controls. I don't know if I can do this.
 
The grease is congealing. Time is running out.
 
Epic Fail. I think I beat my record though. 3 or 4 scoops left, but my wife has forcibly taken the plate away from me.

Gutted, not only am I on a diet, but I love haggis, it is probably one of my favourite foods. Not had some for a year or two though, last time I was up in chillyjocko land!
 
Marshmallow and white chocolate Polar Bears Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Oh yes.

I need to give it 5 minutes. The plate is in the kitchen with the remaining haggis still on the plate. Ice Cream will make everything better again.

I might hold you to that in a couple of months when I come off my diet.

I would be interested if you could send down a haggis and a decent black pudding by RMSD, would let you know when and send up the reddies if you would be so kind?

I had McSweens haggis tonight, nowhere near as much as you though and mine only took 3 minutes in the microwave so no crispy bits..
 
I'm not feeling too good. What did you have with yours?
 
A sorry sight indeed. And yeah, that's a gas mask added for dramatic effect.
