I am off to Cornwall in about 2-3 weeks; cottage near Looe and Polperro. Any recommendations on where to visit for some snapping opportunities? We are visiting Eden Project which is 20 mins drive from where we are staying. Perhaps, Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Any other recommendations welcomed. Coastal paths may be out as I going with my wife and 3 months year old son.

Apologies, did not know where to post this.
Thanks

:)

Not sure how close you are to Boscastle (or what state its in after the floods a few years ago) but that was a very picturesque place!

Rick Steins's in Padstow for eating out day or night, exceptional food and service and not as expensive as you might imagine.

I stay in Port Isaac most years in September when it gets a tad quieter, a very well kept Cornish fishing village with plenty of family friendly pubs and eateries. It also boasts the narrowest street in The UK and is aptly named "squeezy belly alley" and yes i can just get through it.

There are sea aquariums in Newquay and Plymouth, or cycle along the Camel trail twixt Wadebridge and Padstow along the river Camel estuary (excellent photo locations here for birds and scenery).

Hope the weather improves for you.

Superb, could not have asked for more folks.

Interestingly, anyone looking for a photography guide to Cornwall hotspots, do look at the link above, BellyBoy was kind enough to leave; credit especially goes to John.D for kindly scanning it in. Thank you!

:)

St Ives is another fishing village, with lots of colour and small alleyways, cottages Etc
