A very cool cat.

I'm not a cat person, but even I thought awwwwwwww.
Being a cat, the cool exterior was maintained, but I bet it was cacking itself!

All the pilot needed to do was stay over the water.......& wiggle the joystick from side to side! :D

Surprised the cat didn't sink it's teeth into the pilot after that. :mad:

Just saw this on the TV news. I can imagine the cat jumping on the wing to sun itself, and then getting a surprise.

The look on the pilot's face when he spots the cat is great.

I like cats, and I'm glad it all ended well! I could imagine my daughter's beautiful, and very elegant, but rather dim Siamese getting herself into a situation like that...
 
I think that the wing has a double skin. The cat probably found it warm until the situation changed.

would love a translation of whats being said. what was odd is that he didnt appear to mention it to hes passenger and it took another minute or so for her to notice

Are we giving the pilot the benefit of the doubt and assuming the cat jumped onto the wing after his pre-flight checks but before they took off?

Yes I thought that it didn't quite add up as I would have thought that the pilot would have checked the plane over before takeoff but glad to see that the moggie was ok
