Hi All,

I am taking a trip to Woburn Safari park on Sunday and I just wondered if anyone has been there before or is able to give me some advice on getting some goods shots but within the confines of a car???

Any advice welcome and thanks in advance :)

Anthony

Hi Anthony, welcome to TP

Have you been before? You can walk around 90% of the park.

I haven't been before Nick_1981 but I believe it is a safari. My other half went on Tuesday and she drove around most of it? Although there is a walk around section I believe.

I'm looking forward to going and getting some shots though :)

Make sure the windows go up fast in case of invasion lol. Open the window, get the shot quick and close it even quicker. Make sure anything easily removable has been removed or a You've Been Framed moment might just arise.

I may have been thinking whipsnade :bonk:

I went to Whipsnade at the start of the year, brilliant zoo!!!

Don't waste your money. I've been twice and wouldn't bother again, you rarely seem to get to see much, or maybe the animals just run inside when i'm about, lol, the prices of the food in the cafeterias are extortionate beyond belief, for what can only be described at best crap, and when i say crap i'm being generous.

Went two or 3 years ago. Just used common sense really some enclosure you can get away with the window open enough some you cant. Well tby my window was open in every enclosure apart from the monkeys. Get there early for feeding time and get to see most things then go round the rest of the park then back round the driving section when most people are in the park.
The bird of prey show was good my step son got chosen to hold a buzzard on his arm. Made his day. I enjoyed it personally

We had a good day! I quite enjoyed it. Yes the animals can be somewhat elusive at times but we saw a lot and up close too! :)
