Thomas Leuthard is a digital street photographer of our modern times and he has made 2 ebooks that he is giving away for free. Definitely worth a look and a download if you get the time and this kind of photography interests you.

i skimmed through some of it and it made a very interesting read!

I didn't think his photos were all that great though - they didn't wow me like some street photography candids I have seen

good on him for writing something to give back to the community though

thankyou for the link, lots there to read and look at. I like the clear style of his writing in particular.

Just downloaded - will give it a read

Cheers for the link

Sam

Funny... I still feel very nervous pointing cameras at people. Its not something I am going to be able to do overnight, I did take some shots but nothing worth showing or keeping sadly. good adrenalin rush.

Just read book two, I agree these may not be the greatest street photo's ever, but I do think they are very good, and his passion for the genre shines through.

Oooh missed those, will download for future reading :) Cheers!

I was out with Gary the other day and hes wary about it, often I will chat to people and take shots or take shots then chat to them, we talked to a really interesting guy, I got some OK shots of him, I just like the light on his face that was coming through his straw hat,

What I like about TL is his total enthusiasm & dedication, however he mainly seems to do "portrait style" street shots which are not totally what interest me, but I've read his first ebook which was very interesting.

Excellent find - just dowliaded to my phone but have bookmarked the links and will download to my laptop for a proper read. Done nice work in there, not all 'classic' stuff but good nonetheless :)
