Yes
Just noticed that there's a thin strand of white material on my sensor? I can see it there no matter what lens I put on and also with no lens attached.

How do I get it off?

Don't ask me!! :D :lol:

I'm not sure what you mean, can you see it through the view finder? or are you seeing it on your photos?

It sounds like residue from cleaning fluid.

Re-clean the sensor with new swabs/fluid to get rid of it.

I see it through the viewfinder with all lens and without any lens attached too.

Where can I find instructions on how to clean? Don't want to do any damage :S

It's not on the sensor. It will be a hair on the viewfinder and won't show up on your shots. A rocket blower or similar might shift it. Remove the lens and blow into chamber towards the top of the camera. It might shift it or it might just move it around a bit. If you're feeling brave you could try a soft lens brush to fish it out but it can be a bit tricky to get in there.

ah yes, I see it now pxl8. When you say blow, do you mean with a rocket blower or just literally blow into it with my mouth?

:lol::lol::lol: Thats funny...
and on topic...DONT BLOW ON IT!

It'll shower the sensor, mirror, focusing screen, electrical parts, shutter etc with small blobs of your flob!

They may not be visible when you blow on a hot chip, but they'll make big splats on your sensor for sure.

Might make a picture of a white wall interesting, though... someone wanna try it?
