After 2 years or more of being messed around and led astray by false promises I have finally had enough and given my notice in at CCL :eek: :woot:

I have allowed the status quo to remain as it is for so long because I got into a so called comfort zone - I hated my job, desperately needed more money, but was too lazy to do anything about it because at least I had a regular wage coming in and at least the bills got paid.

The house is on the market and we expect to receive a revised offer from a genlteman that has already made 5 offers for the house in the last 10 days (albeit very low offers at first) in the next day or so that we intend to accept - so we're looking at moving house and me changing jobs in a very short space of time.

I must be crazy :bang:

Good luck mate, handing your notice in and moving on is never an easy thing to do when you're in the comfort zone even when you know it'd be better if you did. No more staff discount from CCL then? :(

Can't remember the last time I bought anything from there, might have been last year when my mobo blew its caps on a Saturday morning and I needed a replacement there and then.

If your not happy theres no point staying, all it does is increase your stress levels - best to get out while you can, and this sounds like an ideal way to start with a totally clean slate.

Sometimes its all too easy to get stuck in a safe rut, but youve done the hardest bit.... it will be a busy time, but all for the best.

It's a nervous time, but I do feel as if a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.

As for the staff discount... we get things at cost + VAT which initially sounds nice but the problem is that on most products the markup is so low there are quite a few occasions that I have found the same products elsewhere for less than the cost price that I can get it for at work :bang:

Now that it's done I'm just waiting for the day when I can well and truly say goodbye and make my final :exit:
