2 months ago I changed to 3(Three) for my internet using a supplied modem that uses a data sim for connection, Great deal 40 gig of data per month for £20 Pm on 12 month contract + no phone line to rent, Perfect I think. What happens if I run out of data I asked, The internet just stops working until you either add some top up or the month starts again, Great. The signal is good & the internet works a treat. So on the 29 May my internet stops & a get a message that (You have run out of internet) Their wording, Not mine lol. So when my new month starts & I am back online I decide to check my bill £84.30...Yes you read it right £84.30. The data had actually ran out on the 28 May unbeknown to me & I had apparently used 6+ gig of data on the 29 & they charged me £64.29 for the one days usage. So when I eventually get to talk to somebody in India, he tells me that I should have known that I could block 3(Three) from taking up to £65.00 every month if I went over my 40gig limit which I have now done But had to go into the 3(Three) shop in Leicester because the phone line went dead when I told the Indian guy just what I thought of the company he works for & that if I refused to pay up they would cancel the contract & then charge me £420 for the trouble.......So this is just a word of warning to anyone changing to 3 (Three).........DON'T... DON'T....DON'T
