Hi,

Ive been asked to do a photoshoot for a paramedic - This will be him standing next to an ambulance

I will only have 2 speedlights that I can use...

I know its a broad question, but whats the best sort of set up to have. The focus needs to be on him.. I was thinking maybe a light inside the ambulance cab, lighting that up, and the other facing towards him? I also have two stands and umbrellas to use.

Cheers

Watch his reflective jacket, as it'll bounce loads of light back.

Personally, I'd light him with one light from an angle and slightly above and then have the other speedlght in the cab. I'd probably shoot with some dialled down ambient so you can see the ambulance but it means you don't have to light it with flash. Maybe have the ambulance lights on - that's a call only you can make at the time when you see the intensity.

Thanks for the reply. Fortunately he wouldnt be wearing a high vis jacket.
Will also have to watch the light bouncing off the ambulance itself
