not much, only that you may need 64bit drivers for peripherals, it also utilises more memory (as in you can install more RAM, if the motherboard supports it), the OS uses the 64bit instruction set for the processor, theoretically it's faster

64 bit ought to be faster, and there's not great loss running 32 bit software on it either.

Some drivers will be different, and when you're downloading applications and the like, keep an eye out for x64 versions - they're usually much happier and will run faster on a 64 bit OS.

Can you tell I'm a x64 fan? :lol:
