A quick Photoshop Batch question, hopefully

Hi,

I'm hoping I'm being thick and there is a really simple solution to this.

I want to batch process images in photoshop CS4 using an action I a have set up.
I have set the Batch job to process all images in folder a and save to folder b, the problem is I am having to click 'Save' and 'Ok' on every image as they are being saved

What option do I have to select to fully automate it?
Or do I need to add a 'Save As' to the Action?

In the "Batch" dialog box, make sure you have "Destination" drop down box set to "Save and Close". That should sort it!

Cheers, but doesn't that overwrite the original file. I'd like to create a duplicate at the moment.

The only way I've got it to work unattended is to have a 'Save As' action in the Photoshop action that saves the files to JPEGS.

When you edit the action, ie look at it in the actions pane/window thing (do you know what i mean?), the Save & Close stop will have a little icon to the left of it which represents whether or not you will get a dialog box.

I'm pretty sure that unticking that icon will solve your problem.
