Yes
You’ve have been offered a once in a life time opportunity of looking after one of two items forever..

The first gift is a small golden dragon about two feet long, He can be a very loving pet if treated nicely, also being magical, he can understand what your saying, once he’s happily settled in to your home he’ll do stuff around the house to please you, like fetching the remote control or clicking the kettle on… or even lighting the odd fire for you.

The second gift, is a small box about a foot long,. When you place the box on a table and open the lid tiny soldiers will climb out from either end and start attacking each other, they’ll spread across the table defending their own, if you place a block of Lego on the table for instance they’ll use it for cover. When a side wins any remaining soldiers will drag the dead back to the box, close the lid ready and refreshed to do it all over again.

Which do you choose?

A question (the ultimate Question) offered by its inventors. Daniel Kwai, and my son Daniel K-Bishop.

a) gets my vote
it's difficult to see what benefits b) gives

or is this a psychological "so why do you pay taxes?" question? :gag:

I'd go with the second, seems like it could be a larf

Second option sounds good. I'd like to see that.

option a) can never find the remote :bang: and if he can get me a beer as well

The second is cool! :D

I would double the dragon up, put it in the small box and stand back to watch the fireworks! :naughty:

Number 2 blatently :D

I mean how cool is that, little men fighting in the comfort in your own home. My room is a mess, it would be a battlefield gold mine :D

Oooooo, I want a dragon!

It would have to be the second as it's zero maintenance forever and can be played with on demand. I wouldn't want to be treating a golden dragon 'nicely' forever...and what if you have a bad day at the office and come home being not so nice...?

He'd flame grill your ass :D

:D Ah thats not fair you're biased..

I'd go fot the box myself, I reckon I could get people to fetch and carry for me just for opening the lid again. :naughty:

Neither. After "forever" I'd get bored.
+1 this is the only logical answer, once all possible scenario's for either have been used up, forever is still to come

Logical my bum....Yous may as well get the box and never open the lid. :D

Erm..... what have you been smoking??

The dragon because he could do all my Lightroom/Photoshop processing of my pictures, renaming, organising etc, while I go find the remote control myself.

While my first, second and third instincs are all screaming Box 2 - cool factor

Can the dragon fly and make fire? If so then I would definitly go to box 1 :)

The dragon. Violence - even killing as a form of entertainment?

Dragon - I get to see the real thing vis option 2 so that's no good...

Adam, are you going for the Most Bizarre Thread in this year's TP awards by any chance?

I think that it can't be too far off Marc :D
Oh and my answer?
Well the next one is already in training
(BTW they only turn gold after the first moult )

The drifting smoke of some Dragon flamed luddites maybe... :D

The question is mainly for boys so I'll let you off Cheryl.... ;)

:( Why is it mainly for the boys, is there some hidden meaning then

Just to be clear my OP post is just a giggle guys.. … Its not intended to be any kind of psychological mumbo jumbo test for either sex or anything.... :)

As all you girls perfectly know... :p

Its simply a fun quandary of proportional logic, intended to confuse adults, made up by my teenage son and his mate for mental entertainment...

They suspect most adults will choose the dragon. And even though the question is designed to be almost impossible to answer, the boys will more than likely choose the box and the girls the dragon simply because girls tend to think like adults.

See... :p

(Not including those who like surreal things, will fly and train them, or who are actually soldiers or who can't abide violent games..etc) :D

They are not sure of the answer yet… they think the box is the ultimate … hey they’re fifteen ….

They reckon by simply suggesting that the dragon does nothing more than is already being done by different means... in other words you can get your own remote control, or get a mate to help, get a flame thrower, buy a Faberge egg or learn to fly a plane...etc.

The box however is alone, and its uniqueness and its abilities can’t be surpassed or replaced by other means.
