A question for the mods ....

Hi ...

When first accessing the forums via talkphotography.co.uk it brings up a page whereby the posts are sorted in order of the time they were posted.

Is it possible to acces more than one page showing the recent posts?

E.g. I check the most recent posts and the last one posted was 18:08. If i then go out until 10pm, is there anyway I can view the posts in the order they were posted when I get back in? Or is it a case of looking at each individual forum to see what was posted when?

I too wondered the same. But unfortunately im 80% sure its the latter. Though I'd love to be proved wrong.

Home page top left corner just under your avitar "new posts" shows the posts that have been posted since you have been away ( signed out) HTH

Which is the same as the 'new posts' link on the menu bar across the top.

'New Posts' will get you what is new since your last visit then list unread ones from last time underneath.

You can exclude one (or more) forum section from the new posts by going to that forum (say welcome section) and choosing forum tools - then select 'mark this forum read' from the list... then when you hit new posts no more welcomes appear.

If you want to start fresh with just new posts next visit then on the 'quick links' (menu bar at the top again) choose 'mark forums read' before you leave.
