I jumped in to the peak strap system last year and now have a cuff, slide lite and full sized slide. Very pleased but I digress. Each purchase came with, among other things, tiny little black sleeves with metal eyelets that sit around the stringy red anchor things and mean you don’t need to use the clumsy eyelets they come with cameras. Anyway I have 5 of them but have 3 camera so I’m one short. Trying to figure out the most cost effective way of getting another. Peak design themselves have been utterly unresponsive. Can anyone confirm if the packs of anchors come with those? Or am I going to have to buy another strap for a tiny piece of plastic?….

Hi Graham,

If you mean the enclosed, ping your address and I’ll pop a couple in the post.

Hi Graham,

That's really kind but it's not those. 2 secs, and I'll see if I can post an image. But thank you so much for the offer.

Not those either but thank you. Trying to post an image from my phone but it's fighting me.

One important detail I left out of the first post (I'll edit it now) is that the plastic thing comes with a metal eyelet too and fitting tool. I'd misremembered that but now I have my camera in front of me, it's obvious.

What's really weird is that I can find no mention of these on any of the Peak product contents or reference to them online and yet all 3 of my straps came with them. I just want some more!

Bear with me and I'll get a pic up.

High quality image, I know.

See the plastic sleeve over a metal ring? Those are the bits I'm after. They're much much neater than using the eyelet that come with the camera as those are designed for wide straps.

I've bought several Slides, a Slide Lite and a Cuff. I've never seen them either . . .

Me neither and I've been buying PD stuff over quite a few years.

To get the PD loops through the camera eyes I use some dental floss to pull it though.

Didn't come with mine either, but I put the cord through the eye on the camera

I have both straps and cuffs and like those above, I have never seen those. I do the same as @Sangoma.

How strange. These all came from WEX around autumn last year. Even came with a peak branded fitting tool. I wonder if they’re a new addition.
