A question about equipment being returned by MPB

I had a quote for a camera body which was dropped by 300 on inspection due to shutter count [which n this pro body is a fraction of what it can do]. On the quotation form I had clicked the link about helping me to select the right condition. No mention was made of shutter count. This information is on another link that I did not look for, having seen the one in the form requesting the quote. This feels deliberately unclear and I am, I think, going to ask for my kit to come back. I would like to know how well they pack up used equipment that is returned. If anyone has any experience of this, please let me know. Had I received this quote, I would not have sent it to them in the first place.
 
They'll pack it safely enough to make it back to you undamaged. Why would you think any different?
 
MPB have always packed well in my experience. I must admit I’ve always found it clear with regards to grading kit, sorry to hear you’ve had issues.
 
I would think that they would send it back in the same packaging as it was sent to them.

Nearly. In my experience the original lens/camera wraps were missing. I contacted them for replacement. They never arrived. In one instance a boxed battery arrived back without the box.
 
Unfortunately they seem to now have a habit of swapping things around. I sold a NikonD4 to them with everything in the original box. When it came up for sale (I knew the serial No.) there was just the camera, battery and charger, no box cables CD etc.

The sad face is for them not returning stuff as sent, not the post!

Yes - I am not impressed. I wish I had never sent it to them.
