A Picture a day (My 365) . . . Made it to the End!

To be honest I have used two layers in PS and used soft light to merge both the layers and dropped the opacity right down on the top layer. But still the polarizer helped in the first place

Yeah, 5D2 images this small is like racing a F1 car around a kids track. oh well rules are rules. BTW you may want to change some of your pics too, before the Pixel Rozzers turn them into links ;)

23rd August: Pietenpol Air Camper, Vintage Aircraft Fly-in at Popham Airfield.

Had a quick chat to the builder, owner and pilot of this beautiful plane before he took to the skies, really interesting and totally amazing that he built it from scratch in his garage. Did a search tonight and found out his name was Alan James. Details of G-BUCO here http://www.pietenpolclub.co.uk/#/g-buco/4534056775.

23rd August: Replica FOKKER DR1 (The most famous plane of World War I, used by the Red Baron), Vintage Aircraft Fly-in at Popham Airfield.

Totally Spontaneous, the pilot just asked permission to lay some smoke on a flyby

Changed my mind for today's shot:

First proper shots of moving aircraft today, so not bad for a first attempt, I think

Very good mate.
I think the purists would like a bit more prop blur though.

Thanks mate, yeah reading up afterwards, I need to go for a slower shutter speed (probably set Tv rather than Av). Obviously will require even more practise at a slower speed to keep the aircraft sharp :)

24th August: Machine!

All out of ideas today, thanks to Ken for taking the cover off his bike so I could take a few shots at lunch :)
All sorts of processing applied to this, looking for a Terminator type effect.

Thanks 78, not the normal subject I would choose, so happy with the processing and result :)

The bike one is very well processed, and it really suits the subject, as does the crop

Is it me or does it need a degree (ish) of counter-clockwise rotation (looking at the Yamaha writing)

25th August: An Office

No idea why, but went for selective mono conversion of the office. No time for anything else.

Thanks, not the angle I really wanted, but didn't want to get runover trying to take a photo ;)

Thanks Dave :)

It's not the IBM building but very near, it's the Raymarine building just off at J12.

Thanks, not sure about yesterdays either, but mind elsewhere regarding moving house, so think I'm allowed to get away with that ;)

26th August: Microsoft Windows 7 - A new face for windows!
