I've just edited a photo from this afternoon and would welcome some comments about the style. I'm always using elements 9 to see how different I can make the pictures look but I'm not too sure about this one.
i don't dislike it... and there's no point in saying there's no white in the eyes etc.. as i know that isn't the style of this edit. i can tell that it is a sharp capture and you've edited it to give a bit more grit and punch... which i think it does. Maybe just a bit too much contrast which makes the couple look a little bit cut and pasted onto the background.
Thanks for the comment. It's not a cut and paste, but the RAW image was very over-exposed because I'd shot against a white sky (d'oh). The sky is cloned from one darkish area just to get rid of the whiteness. On the couple I used two colour filters and soft light blending. I also put it through topaz adjust and finished it off with desaturation of the reds and added an elements lomo effect.
