A nostalgic look back

Its a shame they only fly them in Sth Africa, would be great to see one go vertical at the airshows
 
Saw one when I was about 6 or 7 at an RAF open day/airshow in Germany, it flew left to right at maybe 1000ft, hit the afterburner at one end of the runway and before it passed the other end there was an almighty thunderclap! and then it went straight up and disappeared. They would never be allowed to do that now and maybe it's why I'm deaf as a post now ;)
