As I have said in other threads I spent 4 days at the downhill mountain bike world cup in Fort William last weekend. MTBCut TV were doing the live broadcasting and as the owner Stu Thompson is a young businessman who helped my boy get into racing I offered my services as an aerial cameraman.
Stu was a little nervous as a camera is an expensive item to a fledgling business and he was due to cover another race at midday so when he handed it over to me at 10am his question, "You're quite sure this will be alright" was a pretty big question. From my point of view any flight that ends with ME in one piece is considered successful
.
Anyway I got the footage and Fort William was graced with aerial images of the track and World Cup village courtesy of HUN. So watch out for that little clip with Nevis Range car park (and a pair of 5-tens in shot!
).
Here is a grab of the big screen shortly afterwards.
