A Minolta XG-2 and 35 -70 mm lens. Will this work?

Thanks to Jared of this parish for supplying this gear instead of binning it.
Took it to pieces quite easily though maybe half a dozen screws needed drilling out.
Surprisingly complex inside, but probably nothing compared to even entry level modern DSLRs.
