'Evening all,

Last week myself, Asha and Paul (Mr Bump) had a little wander down to the YSP. It was my first time there so I was rather chuffed the weather decided to be kind to us!

I've been scanning a few shots from 2 rolls of 35mm I shot during the day, here are a few on a 3 year out of date roll of Fujicolor 100:

There might be a few more 35mm shots to come tomorrow and there'll be one or two on 120 once I get them devved. Big thanks to Asha and Paul for a very enjoyable day! :)

Paul

Some nice shots there Paul, looks like you had a good day.

Now what was I observing??....Oh yes birds, I always did have an eye for the ladies :D

Overall a nice set of shots there Paul, I very much doubt mine will come anywhere near your standard.

Assuming there is any worth bothering with, I'll post em in here if that's ok?

Great day I agree, I got some stuff back from PEak today and a quick scan of one roll from my Practica TL3 Super which I wanted to test, i boogered the film opening the back without rewinding so some shots were stuffed but a lot came out good giving me a lot of respect for this camera. I think I overexposed them slightly, I remember erring to the side of caution on the meter.

FOGGED OUT * But oddley I really like it !

Some really nice shots there, Paul. It was good to put a face to Asha! Also interesting how well the expired Fujicolor came out... but since it's Agfa Vista in disguise, we shouldn't be surprised! The beech leaves are lovely, also the sculptures through the wholes, and Mr Bumps legs!

Thanks its was a super sunny day, could not have asked for better and the colours were fantastic.

Thanks Chris! Is Vista Fuji 200 then? I've never been able to find out what it is for sure. The Fujicolor I shot for this was 100 and it's definitely quite different to the Vista I shot as well.

Paul, did you adjust the scans manually? The brightness looks like it's been pushed in scanning rather than the film being overexposed.

I think it's been established by someone who reads barcodes (just the sort of thing at least one F&C member would always be able to do :) ) that it is Fujicolor C200. IIRC of course!

Here is my picture - again.....sigh

Hands up, that was me! If you just stick the barcode number into this handy little webpage, then it'll come up with what the film type is. If it doesn't come up, then its because its not been updated to include the latest barcode database from the I3A (who standardise this). The database list used to be on the I3A website, but it seems to have gone now. Luckily I have a copy of it so if anyone should need a mystery film identified then I'm quite happy to send it to them, or to read the film type off it.

Agreed some of the colours were superb.

Some decent results there from the TL3 Paul, glad to see you little "incident" didn't stuff the whole roll.

Thanks Asha it does look promising, I got your PM about the 127 film by the way I need to reply proper with a defo yes !

I think I might have some spools but dont think i have backing paper?

Here's a few from me. ( Just noticed a bit of dust here and there but I was impatient to get a few posted:rolleyes:)

Plenty more to come (hopefully) in due course as and when processed....some of you guys (Paul & Paul, if you don't mind yourselves posted on here:shrug:)

Following on from some advice from Paul (PMN), I've spent a bit more time trying to get more from the negs at the scanning stage as against in photoshop.

You're right, you don't wanna know! :D

Sorry Paul, but i think there may be some more "interesting" candids of you on the other films...watch this space, if you dare!!!!

I'm just sorting my MF pics from the Kiev get them up soon :-)

I've just devd the 110 film from the Pentax Auto 110 slr ( the one you fell in love with Mr Bump!)

Looks like the better results are of shots I've taken since i returned home to finish the roll off......I'll scan em tomorrow and see if there's anything worth salvaging/ posting up from the YSP visit.

Just had a good read and look through this thread, some awesome images from you guys and looks like you had loads and loads of fun.. perfect day out:D

Ok here's a handful of results from the sub miniature Pentax 110 camera (c1978) shot on ORCA b&w 100 iso film, devd in Rodinal.

Not very happy with them tbh although the camera is fully automatic with it's shutter and aperture settings dependent on available light hence why sharp contrasted shots are dificult to master and if the light is low like in the last shot, the camera shoots wide open at F2.8 and offers a fantastic lack of DoF:(

I've posted some other results from the same roll on the "show us your film shots" thread which have come out a little better than these:thumbs:

Made a start this evening on a batch of C-41 films which includes some taken at the YSP.

@PMN the 3 frames you shot on the circa 1930 subminiature folding Ensign Midget Model 55 are hanging to dry.......perhaps nothing to shout home about but you got images matey ....I'll get em posted real soon

Thanks mate! I'm certain at least one is borked but it'll be interesting to see what the other 2 turn out like. Probably also borked.
