Umm, can we create our own virtual contact sheets from either our own developing, or from develop only from a lab? I've been repeatedly disappointed by lab scanning (at a price I'm prepared to pay!), so vowed to do all future scanning myself.
I was planning to get my contact sheets done at either AG photolab who do them by hand, or in a darkroom myself. When I get access to a darkroom I'd be happy to help people out with doing some contact prints, black and white only though.
I would be up for this - I may have to repack my camera bag for an upcoming holiday...
Or could I be annoying and use a 120 roll?
Do we have to convert those northern years to human years in the same way as you do for a dog?
..........are we saying only a lab contact sheet is acceptable? Can we not scan our negatives, then create a virtual contact sheet in Lightroom or Photoshop?
Anyone know how to get ink off your teeth? I'm, erm, asking for a friend.
I'm going to hang my negatives in strips of 6 in the bathroom, photograph them with my phone, upload to Lightroom, convert to DNG, print each photo, photograph the prints with an MF camera, develop the negatives, hang those in the bathroom, photograph them again with my compact digital with on-board flash, upload to flickr, share to facebook, download again, arrange in rows of 6 using custard creams painted black as sprocket holes and photograph with the proper digital camera, then share that final image here. That'll show 'im, bloody rules jockey.
You guys just crack me up. I'm now sitting here with a coffee coloured lap after reading those last 3 or 4 posts... nutters.![]()
Bloody Lomography . . .
OK, thanks. If I go B&W I might well take you up on that. But if not, are we saying only a lab contact sheet is acceptable? Can we not scan our negatives, then create a virtual contact sheet in Lightroom or Photoshop?

I've messaged them to see how much they charge, will update when they reply.
Having just rung them up, for a roll of B&W developing and hand contact print it comes to £9.99 + return postage. For C-41 it comes to £8.99 + return postage.

Asda give you a small contact sheet when getting your film dev and scanned
