A late starting 365 :-(

114. Out for another bike ride this morning and I decided to take the compact and to get a shot of the village we live in. The alps rearing up behind. Unfortunately the weather was not so great.

Just catching up nic

Really like 109 SP, the look of concerntration and determination is great ;)

Also like the angle and composition of 113 (plus nice subtle use of HDR)

And your village looks fantastic, I can just imagine what that view looks like on a sunny day :)

Thanks Julian, those two were real press and hope shots - I rather like them too though :)

The village is lovely I will do my best to get one late in the evening with the sun shining on the hills behind - that should look good.

115. Since the trend seems to be to do beer shots at the moment:

A tough day at work (month ends usually are and this was a quarter end for a lot of our big suppliers as well) so I have earned this one. Cheers!

116. I got back home just after a big storm came through and just caught the back edge of it leaving the village.

117. Something has been eating my roses! No idea what but I think this one is beyond saving.

Catch up, seems a regular thing...
Some really good shots in there, keep it up

118. WAITING - taken but not yet processed and now other things are calling :(

And finally here we are - Ticky and me on the balcony enjoying a beer in the evening sun.

119. Taken and processed! Our bedroom window looks right into the morning sun and with the white curtains you can take shots like this. Ticky this morning...

120. A visit from the parents in law and two busy, stressful and downright unpleasant days at work means that these two are grab shots.

and a close up of a stone that we found whilst playing in the river:

120 is great Nic, but I do love my clouds!!!

Do I see a dust bunny to the right low down?? Maybe it was on the lens and not the sensor...

118 is also a cracker, he looks a lot like you. :)

Thanks JD - that isn't a dust bunny but an errant bug that I caught in the shot and that I can't be bothered to remove :nono:

121. (though i think that I have made a mistake somewhere) so the 09th July.
I started sticking my 365 photos into an album today with my comments and pages from my poem a day desk calendar.

Quality idea on 123 :D
Is that a balloon up your tshirt or are you just happy to see me? :exit:

Thanks for the compliments - my bump has gone - Tanja's will be around for another month or so. Due date 19th of August :)

124. delayed 12th:
I was up at 6am to get out on the bike and got a bit over enthusiastic in the mountains on my road bike. When the road gave way to a track and then a forest road and finally a mud path through a marsh I gave up  However, 4000 feet of climbing before breakfast makes for a hungry Nic. Here is the (rainy and foggy) view across Switzerland from about 1/2 way up.

125, Cloud week pt1 is really interesting.

Interesting cloud in pt2 also but looks like you have a nasty dust bunny, or it was a bird.

Cheers - I am not sure if it will be cloud week all week but let's see (and see if JD gets jealous). I think that it is a dust bunny, I thought it was a bird on the first shots but now I think it is dust :(

127. 15th July well here I go aiming to complete the cloud week - started more by chance than planning. This is the cloud one today:

But I prefer this one of gangster Ticky

128. 16th July - not a cloud (there were none in the sky this evening) but something else that flew over the house instead

129. In one sense there was plenty of could to photograph today - it was grey from one horizon to the other all day - on the other hand that does not lead to great photos. My mum came out to stay today - she will stay until after the baby is born. Just 4 weeks to go if he stays in as long as that.

130. 18th July We bought some roses for my Mum when she arrived - another chance to get the close up lens out

131. 19th July today was the day to harvest onions and potatos from our garden. We got 12kg of pots - I am not sure how many onions - they are still down in the shed drying but they look good. These are some of the tatties.

Lovely composition and textures on day 130, and i love the angle on the ganster Ticky
