A is for.....

In an effort to try and improve my skills, i borrowed this idea from Marrosser....I am going to take an image beginning with a different letter of the alphabet every 2 weeks.

Here is my first one:

A is for Apprehension

I like the idea of this image, but I am not sure if it translates? I think the DoF is good and the sharpness but feel the composition lacks something??

for me - you're slightly off straight, and the centre line of the scales is slightly off, if its close to straight - it really should be straight (in my book).

Apart from that - colour, exposure, DOF all good.
