.....who did a superb overhaul of my Canon AE-1
good comms from the start, a very quick turn-around and all at a reasonable price

my AE-1 has sentimental value - gifted to me by the French girlfriend [later wife] of my nephew
with a 24mm lens and original Sigma 'Perfect' hood
but sat unused for the last 3years - and the film take-up spool locked solid
CLA - all smooth now, and with new seals

Same here, repaired my 40d a few years ago and had a very good service and the price wasn't to painful either
 
Always been happy with work that Miles has done, he comes highly recommended. Prices are far better than any of the London camera shops to boot.

sure are - i hesitated at spending the money on an 'old' camera i may not use much
my Canon A-1 being my main camera
but when you consider the quote included the roller repair, overhaul, new seals and RMSD return ---- WELL WORTH IT

Miles even replaced a missing synch socket plug.......:)

I've used Miles a few times in the past and recommend him to he's not over priced and does a decent job :)
 
Another happy customer here. Miles got rid of the dreaded squeak from my A-1 plus a thorough CLA. Reasonable on price and turnaround.
