A Gripe - nothing to see here

No, it's not a newly discovered species, read on ......

Up until darkness came in today I had the following in the garden.

2 Grey Squirels
2 Magpies
1 Woodpecker
4 Chaffinches
2 Sparrows ( possibly Eurasian )
2 Long Tail Tits
2 Woodpigeons
8-10 Blue Tits
4-6 Great Tits
2 Coal Tits
2 Carrion Crows
3 Dunnocks
4 Blackbirds
1 Robin
1 Wren

And just over the fence 1 Roe Deer about 20 yards away.

GUESS what was missing........ some bloomin' light, it was nearly pitch dark here all day and not a single photo was taken :bang:, hardly seen any sun here for nearly 3 weeks, I think we've had maybe 3 days worth and one of those I had to sit in waiting on a delivery van which appeared at 3:30pm

So on my Xmas list this year is some really frosty mornings and some decent light, pretty please

Ok gripe over, off nightshift in an hour, oh the joys

9/10ths of sod all here (Even if it was light enough to see anything!)

Same frustrations here with the light. I keep sitting patiently from 8am till 10am for decent light, but it just doesn't come. Then for the rest of the day the sun is on the other side of my house where the birds aren't

total crap here to:razz: it always rains weekends and sunday is my only time i have as work and over time seems to be taking over.
and because ive moved my feeder so ill have the sun behind me threw the yearbut that the garden is'nt so grown up at at that end of the garden and the birds dont like it.

Aye, here too.

Also all the wildlife has either been eaten by the cat or totally avoiding the garden cos of the cat! :bang: Not a fan of cats!

Why dont you set up some studio flash lights lights in the zoo - sorry garden - if any of that stuff came to my garden the dogs scare them away...

i know how you feel, stupid light, i can't wait for some more, although you can get sunset at 3.30 and be home for tea
