thanks

I could be wrong, French was never my strong point but I would interpret that as saying there is fungus on the rear lens, I could be translating 'filamenteuse' out of context but without further clarification that's what I would assume.

A native speaker like @Kodiak Qc would be better placed to say :)

As far as I can tell, its in a good state of functional use. There's 'dust' on the rear element, which doesnt impact on performance, no oil on the aperture blades and something about a diaphragm being non-rubber? I don't get that bit.
Hopefully someone will be along to provide more insight than me

Google translate is not a lot of help:

"
Good general and functional status:

Lenses ok, slight traces of filamentous rear lens does not hinder the shooting lens before ok, no shot was on, not rubberized diaphragm, no oil on the blades.

With front cap and genuine Canon sheath.

Possibility of adaptation to digital device with a ring not included."

Some of that is almost English! A lot's going to depend on whether filamenteuse is dusty or fungusy!

I always thought that you couldn't translate soufflé but apparently it means breath !

It has signs of fungal growth....

If that's enough to put you off then there's little point translating it all.

Besides, my services don't come cheap :D

Maybe a little help for you, Yeah I guess its small traces of fungus lines, my o/h is french so filamente is like the old lamps with filaments inside, So at a guess I would say its traces of fungus lines.

VGC does not need to be translated
as for the frenchs (not the québécois)
it stands for:

Very Good Condition.

— Just enough to determine if its in Very Good Condition for the price

He understands that bit, it is the rest of the message that is in French that he doesn't understand and needs translating.

A, so filamenteuse are scratches, I was worried they might be filaments which could easily be a description of fungus.

:)

so filamenteuse are scratches

Scratch is égratignure

Trace is the same in english

Filamenteuse means extremely thin, narrow but undetermined in length.

I was worried they might be filaments which could easily be a description of fungus.
My understanding of the description and my
experience as photographer, your suspicion
is not excluded.

I would not recommend this purchase as it is
described with too well chosen words to be a
straight forward description,
does not feel good!

Good instinct and conclusion.
