Ok guys
I have been having a play with my Yongnuo YN465 flash gun for a while now and have a couple of questions to ask.
1)
Whats the maximum height a ceiling can be before bouncing the flash doesn't achieve the desired result?
2)
Is it ok to use forward facing flash for subjects that are not close to a background (which would otherwise cause shadow)?
The reason I ask is that on Sunday it is my nephew's 4th birthday party and his parents have hired a church hall. I want to get some photo's of him with his friends plus the magician they have hired, and I would like to achieve some decent shots.
I know church halls can vary quite a bit so just looking for some tips.
Many thanks!
