I shall try to explain this as best I can. If you need clarification please ask, I'm not good at explaining things.
I start working on an image in LR and then if I feel it needs more (spot removal, cloning, curves etc) I then take it into PS, make the adjustments and save as a TIFF so I keep all my layers. However, sometimes I find I need to make a little more adjustments in LR afterwards (normally clarity).
Bearing in mind that if you tweak in LR after PS you need two files, one of the PS TIFF in case a layer needs adjustment after crit, a copy that's been tweaked in LR after PS, it get more complicated if you've done the following: Made adjustments in LR - Import and adjust in PS - Make some extra tweaks in LR - Get some critique that then means going back into PS.
My questions are how do you keep track where the last adjustments were made to the image? And if you make tweaks in LR after PS is there a way of keeping all your layers should you want to open in PS later?
At the moment I am using a colour code in LR but wondered if there is a better way. I normally save my edited files in a separate folder too.
