Yesterday, we took hundreds of pics at an indoor skateboard park. Guy wants to make a "picture" composed of all the faces he captured (he was concentrating on faces, I was doing action). If they were each printed out, it would be like putting them all up on a wall, next to one another....get the idea? Anyway, question is......how do I do this? I've looked in Scott Kelby's bible for CS2, but he's talking about collages where images are merged over one another and that's not what's wanted here. Any advice?

PS...I'm still a beginner with manipulation, so be gentle!

Tis really easy :)

Basically just create a huge canvas in Photoshop, to hold all the 'faces'

Then open up your first face picture too, select the move tool (key : v), and drag and drop the face onto your blank canvas, you wont see anything actually move until you release the mouse button (like you would when you move an icon or something).

Your face will then be imported onto the canvas as a new layer, so you can position / adjust as necessary then :)

Then go onto the next face. If you've got hundreds it's going to be a laborious task, but I think it will be worth it when youre done :)

A mate of mine had a software called Fotofusion by lumapix which does collages very quickly and made them look very nice. Not sure if you want to spend more money on software. Theyt have a free download trial so you can have a look at the end result and then recreate it on CS2 ( to save moeny and a bit of time)
