Edit My Images
Yes
This is a very long shot but I'm wanting a few creative shots of a watch with my car, but I don't do phphotoshop or such like. If I were to send a few jpegs of watch and car, would it be possible to create something with photoshop or similar? If anyone would be willing to help me out here please pm me.
Thanks.

I'll have a go.. but what do you mean by having a watch with your car? I'm puzzled... you just mean a shot of your car with a watch photoshopped in?... just two unrelated images in the same frame? Or do you mean that it has to look like it was shot as one image? If the latter... then I can't see how that would work unless the watch was perhaps shot on a surface, or object that would make sense when composited with the original.

If you mean just hanging there in space, out of context, then I'm doubtful it would look very good.

I think you really need to post up BOTH images in here so we can see what the possibilities are.

im pants with pp but what about the watch large size with a few of the car going around the inside face of the watch i think that would look cool if you could find some 1 that could do it for you

Thanks for replying!I suspect this won't work.
I have an old silver sports car. I've just acquired a new watch, with black dial, and matt silver bezel. What I was thinking was like a product shot of the watch as the main subject, with say the car in behind the watch or to one side. I have a few images ( not the best ) and I don't know if such an idea can be brought to fruition. The watch is the main focus. Say a few pictures. I want to post on a watch forum, but it would be especially for my own private pleasure. No money involved, I'm afraid. And I was thinking b & w.
But you're the experts! :)

The issue is the context. As the watch is shot on black, it will just be either a boxed out image that literally has no contextual link.. or you can cut it out and it will look like a massive watch floating in the air... I suppose it could be composited with a hand to look like it's being worn, and then the shot of the car blurred to give the impression of depth of field... but that's quite complex, and I don't have a shot of a hand and wrist... err.. to hand :)

I'll have a think.

Have you got any pictures of the car from above looking down on it?

nice honda s by the way

They're not bad at all, Steve.Have I your permission to post them?
What would it look like all b & w ?
Many thanks.

simple as that steve. I'm inspired. If you have a spare 10 mins....any others?

What about using the watch as the wheels?

Thanks.Don't know if that would work? Couldn't do it myself at any rate.
One of the problems is that my photos are not good, which makes the tasks even more difficult.:)
I suppose I have in my head a product advert in a magazine page, which would require pro style images.

Wonder also if it would work with the large b & w watchface on the right with car on the left but not running through the watch.

Hi Alan.
I am not sure what you mean. Do you mean take both watch faces off the car ?
Keep the black n white photo and just copy and paste the face of the watch onto the grass in bottom right corner ?

Gaz, I was just thinking of another take, not discarding yours.
If the watch is the main product, then the car is merely to offset it. It's an Airman's watch, and the car seemed appropriate (lol). But perhaps a photo of an aircraft could be used? The watch is a German replica of the watches the pilots and navigators used. I was thinking large watch face slightly to one side or central with car ( or aircraft) behind it but not running through it, or to one side of the watch. Hard to explain. I really appreciate this.

No Alan I have not took offence at all. I am no expert I just can't see what you are after in my minds eye. So the watch would be totally not overlapping the car at all ? Or placed ontop as in steves image but with out it being seethrough.

Gza,
I was thinking the watch not see through. Perhaps the car to one side..or a spitfire/messchersmitt etc. Or the watch with laying over, but not see through, the car or a plane.
I know it's hard explaining :) ( and understanding) wish I could do a drawing and post it.)

mods, please delete this post.contained a link to an external sit.Don't know if that's right.(?)
