Fail today. I didn’t know this was a real word.
I know how you feel! Doing these games on comes across a lot of words like that. I guess they are words we say but seldom write.

A sleepy 2 for me today!

gyxxy. ggggg.

3 today but very nearly 2. After three blues on first line got XOOOO on second leavimg only one possible on third — and of course both my wrong guess on 3 and correct on 4 have almost the same meaning.

Just to bang on a bit about “not real words”. I have been doing other nyt games (Spelling Bee & Letters Boxed) and often come across 5 letter words I’ve never seen before. Some are perhaps only relevant to people living in USA (eg Spanish or Yiddish derived words) but others apply everywhere. Some recent examples EMCEE, INNIE, OUTIE. I don’t know if these are possible results in WORDLE though the last two are accepted entries but I haven’t checked EMCEE.

I suppose emcee is easier for them to spell...

Like Castlemaine's XXXX is so named because Australians can't spell p155.

I've heard of innie and outie belly buttons :D but I wouldn't have thought they would be real words.
edit: I've just had to google emcee. I never would have thought of that being an MC :rolleyes:

2 today! first line left only 9 possible words according to WORDLEBOT.

484 games for me. With a 3.

A lucky first guess got me xxggg which evolved into xgggg with an equally lucky 2nd guess. I could see 3 options and lucked into the correct one with the first guess.

5 today 1G 2Y, 3G 1Y which was really 4G and then it was just a case of which ran out first, number of guesses or the options I came up with.

Just to reraise the standard (sorry, Ricardo!), a 4 here this morning.

xxyxx, xxyxy, xyyyy, ggggg.
