A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

A nice, quick 3 for me.

A lucky first guess saw gxgxx which became gxgyg - effectively gggxg. Could only see one option for the x and it was the right one.
 
3 today. Shaky start with only one B (=Y) but inspired (=lucky) second gave OXXOO and left only 2 possible words I think and lucky choice produced result.
 
5 here too.

xxyxx, xygyx, blanked with an elimination new starter, yygyx and with 4 letters of the anagram, it took a moment or 2 to find what appeared to be the only possibility (although I'm sure there are others!!!)
 
Back to 3 today 1G, 2G 1Y, after which I struggled to come up with any words that would fit eventually I came up with a couple and chose the right one first 5G.

I have the same (iPad) problem I think. ”Like” is not so bad but any other (Sad etc) require holding on the “Like” icon for just the right period — too long and it freezes up.

Having written that I checked to see if my description was right and found it was behaving better tonight -- surely there hasn’t been time fo anyone to moderate it???

I find it goes into select mode and I think it’s an iPad vagary rather than something to do with the forum. I’m sure there’s a knack and one day I’ll crack it :ROFLMAO: But I’m open to tips meanwhile….
 
Easy 3 today after lucky start nailed the central letter and another possible that was likely the first letter which the second line proved and then lucky guess among the many possibles.
 
Well after a good run lately it's a today, pretty much nailed the first 4 letters by go 3 but just kept guessing wrong.
1Y, 2Y, 1G 3Y, 4G, 4G, 5G.
 
A quick 5 for me today.

Blanked for a good start! xygxx was better, yxggx led me towards a ggggx before I went for the correct option!
 
A phew for me today!

xxyyg was a reasonable start and converted nicely to a ggxxg. Took all the other guesses to find the right answer!!!
