A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

Same as yesterday, narrowed it down to only three words I could think of after third guess and just picked them in the wrong order again, 2Y, 2Y, 3G, 4G, 4G, 5G.

And another day of not a yellow in sight!!

8 words left after my first guess, 4 after my second, 3 after my third and 1 after my 4th. On the bright side, it could have been worse! :)
 
I was quite pleased with a 3 today but then WORDLEBOT told me that my rather unpromising start of two orange (=green) eliminated all but 2 words in its dictionary — neither of which were my second guess!

Edit. Brain fart! I didnt have 2 orange (that was yesterday) but a rather more unpromising orange plus blue!

Phew today.
I had 3 possibles and picked the correct one last. :mad:
 
4 for me. Nearly a 3 but I went for a more relevant word rather than the rather obscure solution!

Well a slightly better 5 today 1Y, 2Y, 3G, 4G, 5G, at least I guessed the last letter before running out of goes.

Yesterday was very surprising to me. My first line was:

which did not look all that exciting but according to WORDLEBOT elimated all but two words: LOTUS & LOCUS :)

Needless to say neither was my secon guess — I chose LOINS :(

After a run of 5's and 6's back to a standard 4 today 1G, 1Y, 4G, 5G.
 
Phew.
Never heard of it. Had to use crossword solver to find a fit.

I can see why that might be. I’m very familiar with but surprised to see it as a valid word.
 
Struggled to a 6 today, 2Y, 3Y, 3G, 3G, 3G, 5G, had the first 3 letters at go 3 and was just running out of words that would fit with the letters I had left so gave it a try more out of desperation than anything else.
