A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

Messy 4 today. By 3rd row I had XBBBB but I think there was only one possible word left.
 
A really impressive 2 but I can take no credit. After 2g 1y on my start word it was very obvious that whatever the word was it was a new-to-me one so I had to call for help (crossword solver). From the extremely short list of possible words-I'd-never-heard-of I just picked a random word I'd never heard of
Seriously, is that a word? Do we SW folk just have a limited vocabulary?
 
An off the wall(ish!) starter gave me xyyyx which shifted to gggxx. 2 options jumped out at me and I went the wrong way first! That did discount most other options so I ended up with a 4.
 
Well a 4 for me today but only because I couldn't think of anything else that would fit after 2Y, 4Y, 4Y for my first three guesses.
 
A 4 for me. xxxxg, xxgxg, xggxg, solved. Only word I could think of (with the letters I had left!) that fitted.
 
5 for me. A blank is never a good start! The xyyxx was better and improved to xgxyg. Next guess shifted the y to xgyxg but meant it HAD to go first and given the few letters I had left, I could only see the answer.
 
3 today. A reasonable start of yxxgy followed by an eliminating xxxxx left me with a couple of minutes of thinking before the answer came to me!
