IIRC, FujiDave had couple of aces.

5 for me today. xxyyx saw me chase the ys around for 2x yyxxx until they almost had to turn into an xxxgg. The 3 middle guesses had eliminated most of the usual suspects so only 1 word leapt out at me as the solution.

I managed a flukey 3, but I could see 4 different possibilities after the second word so there's definitely a lot of luck involved.
