That could have gone very wrong, got it in 5 but could've been 6/7 2y, 2y1g, 2g2y, 4g and a number of options for that slot - went for the least obvious as it tends to be how they run it

I went least obvious first and it took me 3 goes! Says a lot about me.

According to SCORDLE there were only 8 possibles after my first and the best guess would have meant I got it in 2.

wrong guesses all the way down meant fail.

What it said about my attempt today (removing spoilers) was:

OTOH despite all this luck it still took me 5 guesses

All 6 today but at least I got there in the end. 0, 2Y, 1G 2Y, 1G 2Y. They were all the wrong letters to make it obvious but by then I'd eliminated enough letters to have two options left. And I chose the wrong one first. Of course I did!
