A bit of fun - WORDLE. (NB, US spelling!) No spoilers please

5 here could have been 3 but 2 wrong guesses on final letter.

Well after the last two days back to a better than normal 3 today 1Y, 3Y, 5G.

5 today

3 today.

3rd was lucky guess from a few options . I hate those situations.

A now rare 3 for me too. Jut the 1y with my first guess but 2gs and the y left the y an effective g (only one place for it to go) and a probable iffy word gave just 2 options and I chose the right one (for a change!!!)

5 this morning, I got led astray, my own fault! :)

If there's such a thing as an easy 5? As in, there was no struggle, just quick cancelling. Had 2 green, no yellow on third, cancelling out half the alphabet, then a coin flip lost

4 for me. Nearly a 5 but changed the first letter at the last moment!

5 today. Another nightmare guessing game.

SCORDLE would have taken 3 apparently ㋡, might be the first time I’ve beaten SCORDLE.

Well a 2 for me today 2G 2Y, 5G.

2ys with my first guess, converted to 3gs on the 2nd. Took me all the others to arrive at the solution (but at least I got there in the end!)

An easy … 6 today. At least SCORDLE agreed with my final choice but it wasn’t doing any better along the way, just too many possibles I suppose.

Edit 6! Not 5 doh!

Sure I can see 6 rows rather than 5!!!

Yes, I’ve corrected it. I always use the same starter and I think I tend to discount that as not being a “guess” :(.

5 . 2 wrong guesses in the options trap again.

A miserable fail today for me. A word I've rarely heard and never used. Is it more common in the US?
I feel it maybe a sporting expression in a game mostly played in America — can’t say more without spoiling ;).
